Just three weeks before exam, it's hard to imagine that at anytime of the day, you will spot me drinking at clarke quay. But thanks to Cheryl Wong, I managed to discover this awesome pub that I will certainly return in future ;)

Beer Market is the name of the pub. The theme in the pub is so cool! The price of the different types of beer are traded on the board like shares on NASDAQ. With their point-of-sales system, the prices on the trading board are updated every half an hour, depending on the demand of the beer. So, buy at LOW and drink till you HIGH!

After seeing some photos posted on facebook, I decided to take some time off my schedule and head to Marina Bay to visit iLight! ;) Borrowed some camera gear and off we went ;) But boyfriend thought that it wasn't as spectacular. I thought it was really beautiful! Singapore has come a long way in building up the arts culture in this nation. Having said so, after I saw Taiwan's floral festival, I think we still have a long way to go..

I find myself much more relax this semester. It's a good thing for sure. :) I have always been so tense up for school, worried about projects, tests and quizzes. I guess the trip to Europe has taught me much. In life, it's not just about the grades and certificates. Look at how the Europeans live their life. They drink, they bbq, they party - to sum up: they live their life to the fullest. And who dare to say that they are unsuccessful in life? ;)

There are a couple of things that I wanna do this holiday:

(1) I want to get a new camera. After iLight, I'm sure that my heart still beats for the sound of the camera shutter despite the loss in HCMC. And if I'm going overseas during December, I will certainly get it.

(2) I want to pick up tennis. I think I will be heading for some beginners course for tennis during the holidays and continue it for the rest of my semester. ;) Next semester is going to be light. I want to make the best out of it.

(3) I want to meet my friends. Studies and work has pulled us all apart. Even though facebook is always there to update us about one another, it certainly does not beat physical meet-up. And EXCO, let us toast to our 10th year of friendship!

That's all! I want to keep the list short so that I will be able to fulfil everything ;)

Somehow, I sorta got my future settled. Well, at least for the first career in my life. Still opening myself to various choices though. I really hope that ultimately, I will make the right choice. Many people are envious that we, the accountancy students, get to secure a job way before we graduate from NTU. But that's probably the only thing that they will be envious about. Coz' life after graduation? No one dares to imagine.

.. coz' my mind is occupied by him :) Even after 2 years 9 months, I can't help but to think of him whenever he is not by my side. Yes, I must admit that I have been seriously blinded by love for the past 2 years but I have never wish to be blinded so badly before. I want this to last forever :)

Yesterday, my mummy invited him up to my maternal grandmother's house for a birthday buffet dinner. It's funny but I was as nervous as he was. But thank god everyone was kind to him :) My uncle said that he is a "new member". "New member" sounds really nice as my family regarded him as part of us.

I love you baby.. I'm looking forward to our a thousandth day. ;)

YAYYY! Internship is finally over! I'm giving some thought to my future if I were to choose to be an auditor. Most people are shocked to hear this from me but the truth is: I need work-life balance. This is something that the assurance industry can't offer. Oh well, I've got one year to think. And fret not. Coz' I know the pie is still big enough to share around :)

And I'm so looking forward to Monday! :))) I will be heading to Ho Chi Minh City with my beloved boy! :) Get away from this fast-paced city and move into a place where you can just sit down and drink coffee with your loved one. <3 Weather, please be kind to us :)

Okay I know that this blog requires some form of resuscitation soon before it is pronounced dead. My boyfriend was asking me about my blog updates and thus, I have decided to update it, just for him :)

I'm pretty glad that life is back to normal. Normal as in I can get awesome food whereever I want, take buses and trains whereever I go, get to meet up with everyone whenever I want! :) Singapore is really a home to me. No matter how much we complain about the public transport price hike, the problem about starhub and mio tv and the big flood at orchard, Singapore is still home to us. There's no where better than home and I mean it.

Other than the comfort I seek from home, I thank god for the comfort I seek from him. He is always there. Always. I guess we have started to appreciate each other more since I came back. We long for these time spent together and I'm really glad to have him around. It marks our 31st month a day ago and true enough, I can never get tired from counting these. I love him. <3

Hello everyone! I'm back! :) Look at how many times I've blogged in Glasgow.. Not many. But certainly, the experience I had can never be just described through blogging. Life has been great back here. I realised that I miss my boyfriend and family so much more than I miss Europe. It's so nice being at home. Just nuaaaa~

I've just started internship at EY on Monday. So freaking tired now even though it's just training. Guess I need to sleep and stop watching World Cup. LOL!

It's such a pleasure watching the BLUE team celebrating their season win. After the final whistle, the whole stadium roared with Carlo Ancelotti rushing out from his seat, raising both hands in the air. Frank Lampard was especially elated too, as usual, together with his kids. His kids have both grown up, after Chelsea missed the championship trophy for 3 seasons.

Awesome team! :)

And I wore this out today, knowing that they would win. :)

I'm done with packing for stuff that requires me to freight it back to Singapore. That's really fast, signalling that it's time to go home. To be honest, I'm quite used to life here at Glasgow. We called Glasgow our 2nd home when we were left stranded coz' of the volcanic ashes. Not sure about the rest, but I felt extremely elated when I reached London, when I reached the bus station, when I reached my hall. I guess it's all about familiarity eh?

UK is a nice place to live in since everything is in English. In Glasgow especially, the people are really friendly. I would probably miss UK more than Europe. Hahahaha! But that's still early. I have not been to Italy and Paris, which are gonna be my last stops. Maybe I will fall in love with Europe all over again, like how I love Barcelona. But anyway, nothing feels better than home, as in the REAL home. Yiming showed me a website showing Top 40 Singapore food. Mann, you know how much I miss you all, bbq chicken wings, fried hokkien mee, yong tau foo, nasi lemak, satay, etc etc. Thank god for mummy's love, I got to eat some local dishes here like lapchiong, claypot rice, laksa, chicken rice, etc. The 10kg savers box is really wonderful!

Of course, I'm missing the people back at home.My family, boyfriend and my jie meis.

I guess my parents miss having dinner together as a family. Sister has exams to mug and I'm overseas. Not sure how dad and mum are coping with only each other. hahahaha!

I'm glad that boyfriend and I have managed to pull through this test, once again. Army, then exchange programme. I'm sure we will face tougher test in the future. But right now, I'm just gonna say, bring it on. Hahaha! I miss him, really.

Lastly, my jiemeis! I'm missing out so much when I'm here! Everytime when I saw pictures on facebook on their gathering, I just feel like photoshopping my face into their group photos. LOL! Their exams are ending soon and they are going to go for their routine "exercise". Hey girls, rest assure, the next "exercise" session, I'll be there :)

I have been spending alot on shopping! Not really for myself but for the people aroun as souveniers. Like today, I spent 150 pounds and only 9.90 pounds is for myself. zzz. If only the 150 pounds is for myself then I will feel happier. HAHAHA. Kidding. I'm almost done with my shopping. Just a few more items and I'm done :)

Exams are coming and I'm totally not geared up to study. zzz. Anyway, I'm lazy to post any photos up here coz' you know.. facebook la. :)

Hello people! The last time I posted a blog entry was like almost a month ago. Wow. Just look at the power of facebook. My blog is so dead now. But nevertheless, I still visit it to check if anyone has tagged on my tagboard. Hahahah! Anyway, not sure if you guys have heard about the volcano in Iceland that has released lots of ashes into the atmosphere. Because of this, I'm left stranded in Hungary, Budapest, which is like 4 hours plane ride away from Glasgow.

Guess my plan?

I'm hopping on a BUS ride to Germany and from Germany, we are taking another BUS ride back to Glasgow. 20 hours bus ride each. How nice! This is gonna be the longest journey in my life. The situation is so bad that people are not expecting flights to resume during the weekdays. But thank god, we managed to secure the buses. My butt will only get flatter. Zzz.

Italy (i hope i still can go for it) is my next stop, then exams, then greece, germany and glasgow. Then it will be HOME! :) I will miss here for sure. But nowhere feels as good as home ;)

It has been long since I last blogged. Phew! March has been a really busy month for me and time is flying like nobody's business. Flying almost every weekend in March is really very tiring. But time waits for no man! I have a seriously screwed exam time-table. Gonna make the best out of it.

London checked. Bath checked. Stockholm checked. Madrid is coming up for tomorrow, Barcelona for this Sunday :) Even though I'm pretty tired, I know I'm gonna missed it when I'm back at Singapore.

Hello! I'm back from Ireland! Busy catching up with school work though. But thankfully, I'm still on track I guess. Will start some real studying this weekend, like finally. Hahaha! Next week I will have a quiz. Need to do some research on my marketing project too. This saturday is also daddy's birthday! So I shall be a good girl and stay at Glasgow, probably a few hours of webcam. :)

Ireland would have been a better place if we get to see the cliff of moher. I love nature oh so much! Thinking if I should splurge on Northern Lights tour if I head to Sweden. Hmm. It might cost up to 1,000SGD. Daddy would kill me I guess.

Hello people! Hahaha! Doubt there's anyone reading my blog anymore coz' my facebook has been really up-to-date. I'm doing fine now at Glasgow, attending lessons and touring out of town during the weekends. If only life can be like this back at NTU, I thought. But oh well, enjoy it while it last.

New year is coming! 士琳在此祝大家新年快乐，身体健康，事事顺心！It's really sad that I can't feel any new year spirit here. The only time we felt it was when we stepped into a chinese provision shop. The owner is a Malaysian/Singaporean, opened that shop for more than 22 years. He gave us kuay tiao for free. I guess that's his marketing strategy: to make us come back again :)

On a brighter note, we are going to a mega chinese supermarket tomorrow :) That is to get our food for chinese new year reunion dinner! :)

Hello people! Even though facebook is much more convenient to upload pictures and stuff, I'm not going to leave my blog alone. :) As of today, I have been at Glasgow for 2 weeks. Things have been great so far, learning new things everyday. I pray that things will remain this smooth for me. Life will then be good this way.

Miss my family and my boyfriend. But I wanna thank that guy who invented skype/msn video call. It makes the world smaller despite the time difference. It could have been much much worse, like just a phone call back home. And a call back home is pretty cheap too! Around 4 pence per min, which is 8 cents in singapore. Lebara rocks!

Still not having a routine of proper cooking though. Someone should see what I ate for this week. It's not really bad but compared to those food that I have at home, it's really a million miles away. Home cooked food, where are you?

... I will be waving goodbye to my family and friends at the departure hall. It feels so fast right now. I was just applying for INSTEP months ago and now, I'm packing for Glasgow. Mixed feelings like I would always say. It feels the same like New Zealand then, the excited yet uncertain kind of feeling. Nevertheless, I know it will be an awesome experience for me! :)

This week's agenda is simple. Packing, dental, shopping and dac gathering. I want to spend more time staying at home before I start to miss my bed and the home-cooked food.

Waited at home. Countdown-ed to his book out time. Rushed out of my house. Overwhelmed by the feeling to meet him immediately. It's 2010 people! 2009 was fast, really fast. I wish that all of you had a marvellous 2009 and will have a better 2010 ahead! 2010 is gonna be the time of my life. For the first time, I will be living in Europe. Not for 5 days, not for 5 weeks, it's 5 months.

I'm having mixed feelings for this year. On one hand, I hope that time can go really slow so that I can enjoy my time there. On the other hand, I'm really looking forward to the reunion with my family, love and friends when I'm back :) Well, just let it be. But I know, 2010 is gonna be an awesome year for me :)

The last day of 2009 was well-spent at boyfriend's cousin's wedding :) I have many to thank his family for the year 2009. Greatly appreciate the care and concern that his family shower on me, making sure that I'm always safe and sound. :)

My december schedule has been pretty mad. Group gathering, shopping, admin matters. At least for this week, I am finally able to take a breather. Wednesday's juno outing (not sure if it's still on) plus Friday's 4 Faith gathering. That's all I have on my calendar. Guess I will need to settle my visa application by this week. CHOP CHOP SETTLE!

I have spent my time well with family and boyfriend :) For the 5 months, they will be the people who are constantly up in my mind. And of course, they are the people who are pulling me back from this trip. But thank god for technology! I would be contemplating to leave if there's no msn, skype, phone, etc.

I'M SUPER LOOKING FORWARD TO X'MAS EVE! Hahaha~ I know I'm gonna have fun with my jie mei's at the hotel room. It's neither the food, the place nor the festival. It's the companionship that I'm looking forward :) Oh man and I was searching for evidence of our Christmas eve dinner f0r 2008. Did we celebrate xmas eve last year? If yes, this will be our 3rd consecutive xmas eve meet-ups :) 4th consecutive with ching n kelly. heh.

Sze Ling is a happy girl! At least for now, before the results are out. I know I'm not gonna do well this time. But I'm just gonna leave it to the power of bell curve. Hope that it will shape it to my favour. Anyway, enough of the exams.

Met up with the girls on Friday! :) 2012 was not too bad, other than the storyline being pretty much predictable. However, it showed us the darker side of the world. Only the wealthiest will survive. Give them the green bill and you can escape from the end of the world. The poor? You don't have to run. Stay put and wait for death god to pick you up. Oh well, it's a sad truth.

No strength to club, thank god for alleybar. HAHA!

Yesterday, I met up with boyfriend. It has been 4 weeks since I last met him, thanks to his firm stand of not wanting to meet me during my exam period. I know he meant it well. All he wanted me to do was to focus. But anyway, I was really over the moon when I saw him! And I know he was too. :)

Fiona Tan has just drafted out her revision schedule for the next 3.5 weeks. I swear to god it's looking terribly mad. Strathclyde is getting me really distracted. Because of all the module-matching and stuff, I can't help but to refresh my hotmail/webmail every minute. Thank god I've got everything done. Clearing 3 cores and 2 electives at Strath for sure :) Dream plan!

Alright. I doubt I will blog for the next 3 weeks, unless I uber bored with my revision. From now till 26th, you can only catch me on hotmail, sms, NTU (if I have classes/exams).. and not forgetting, facebook! :)

I can't wait to leave for UK. Coz' when I'm back, mann! I'm only left with 5 cores and 2 electives for 2 semesters! :) Think I'll probably enjoy Year 3 more. I hope.

Headed down to Tampines yesterday together with boy for Labbit's birthday :) Awesome, awesome, awesome! Other than the non-breezy night, everything was awesome! Got my favourite prawn and sotong you tiao for buffet dinner. Too bad can't eat many. HAHAHA!

I'm a happy girl! I have one bunch of 姐妹 who just celebrated my birthday in advance for me :) I can never thank them enough for the presents, cake and the fish & co birthday song -.- HAHA! Anyway, fish & co did not charge what I ate for dinner. And I ate SALMON. $17 savings! Like omg. Supposed to have discount for birthday girl like 3 days before or after. Today (past midnight blogging, yesterday then.) was the 4th day. But instead of the discount, the waiter just took my main course off the bill! Good or good?

Love them all.

Mr. Boyfriend is now at Vietnam, enjoying cheap and good food without me :( Super envy. If only this is recess week, I will certainly join him for the trip. But oh well, I'm stuck in Singapore.

I'm aging soon. Hahaha! But at least school is making me feeling younger still. No extravagant parties or family chalet. Just some simple dinners with family, boy and friends. Good enough :)

My wish? To have 1 week off from school, no projects, tutorials, lectures, everything and I don't have to catch up with work when I'm back. Totally impossible.

School. Oh well, I seriously wonder why are we paying school fees for the tutors who don't have to teach at all! Year 2 is seriously too independent. Might as well I don't have to enrol into NTU right? Read 3 or 4 articles and chapters before going to ONE seminar (okay that's only 201) and go there to clarify during discussion in class. You don't talk you won't learn anything. That's how it works now. I don't mind speaking up in class.. But I don't like the fact that I have so many readings to do for disclosure module :(

No more lecture-tutorial style is bad. You're supposed to have self-lecture (aka readings) and do your tutorials before seminar. How nice? (not nice at all...)

Maybe I just suck at adapting. zzz.

And no chance for strathclyde liao... T.T hope to get copenhagen instead *keeping my fingers cross*

Oh yes~ School is starting and I'm like getting more and more busy each day. Research on exchange, add/drop, new modules and TUTORIAL BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS (this sucks, really). Anyway, at least my last week of holiday was quite well-spent :) Met up with love and labbit. Meeting up with labbit was bad la. I mean, we spent like most of the time eating T.T Those weight I'd lost during NYS camp seemed to have returned after yesterday's meal. This is so bad lor, Yvonne Lee Yen Ting.

Had dinner at Waraku... But still hungry...

.. So we went to TCC and snacked.. (oh, it was some spicy chicken. those were the bones. heh.)

On a super random note, I really love this J-tee. I don't dare to wear it as and when I like it coz' I don't want it to be seasoned. :)

This blazer fits him so well that we both agreed that he should buy :) $69.00 for G2000 Men's Blazer anyone?

Xinyi is flying off to Italy tomorrow~ Gathered as many J family members as possible to send her off tmr :) Pray hard I'll get my turn.

Baby~ Happy 19th my sweetheart! <3 Thank you for coming down to my place this morning! Even though it was just a short stay, I really enjoyed your companionship :) We have come far, baby. Back then when we were still in our poly days, stretching our necks in search for each other during lunch time and canteen breaks, all the way till now, anticipating each and every nights out/book out of yours. We have come this far..

Thank you for tolerating all my imperfections and always viewing me as the perfect one in your eyes. You know how good you're to me baby, till the fact that my friends and even my sister are queuing up to get you if I were to ditch you. How would I even bear to do so? :)

We both know that the numbers meant a lot to us. It's not about meeting every "monthniversary" to celebrate or to splurge on this special day. It's about the quality time we have been together since the first day and gradually stepping into our future :) After today, I'll be looking towards 20th for sure. And then it'll be 21st, 22nd, 23rd and on and on...

On a random note, did I say I enjoy being piggy-back by you? :) So it's definitely a motivation for me to stay at my present weight (if not, i hope to go even lower) so that it would never a burden for you to piggy-back me :) And of course, I really really love you.

OH YES! Like what Mr. Boyfriend had said, I'm really having camp fever! Everyday seeing the notifications on my facebook jumping, hoping that it's my "我要aaron抓我的屁股" video hitting another new high! Anyway, even though Juno didn't turn out as the best OG this year, I'm really glad to have gone through it as a Juno GL. Maybe things didn't turn out good at the start but trust me.. I was feeling the love after that. The J love. Thank god Janus was there, really. And HTHT was great! That was when everyone unveiled themselves.. Felt more close than usual for sure :)

Cooking competition this year was made much more interesting!! Coz' we get to bid for the ingredients instead of bringing them from home! :) So we got raw chicken meat, bee hoon, spagetti sauce, cornflakes, milk and wasabi.

Let Juno teach you how to whip up some good food from the limited resources! Slice the chicken, crush the cornflakes. Dip the slice chicken into the milk and roll it over the crushed cornflakes. Fry it. [It's really awesome!]

I'm a happy girl today! I guess even though today it's a monday (all my jiemeis were complaining about having monday blues), it will still be a good day coz' we've our time well-spent yesterday :) So Kelly, Ching, Lian and me went Von's house for K-session! It was awesome, taking into account that it's free! Had some good chat with Von's mother too. I think she's super funny! And she's certainly a good mother :)

Lian left early and 4 of us had decided to splurge to pamper our taste bud. No Signboard Seafood, a place that I would only come with my family. HAHAHA! Anyway, the food can never be disappointing, thus making our money worth :)

I was telling the rest.. “有空的话就去看poly的照片.. 你会很怀念的。” And I was elated to get some common responses. Everyone was saying.. "有!~ 有看.. 我们看起来很幼咯.." At least I know, I'm not the only one missing my poly days, my dearest friends too. Everyone loves 当年。

Alright! Went to catch Ice Age 3 with Mr. Boyfriend yesterday and it's my virgin 3-D movie! So here is our kuku picture. LOL! Okay la I would prefer the normal movie coz' the 3-D specs is quite oversized, making it quite a bad experience. It would be just nice for those who wears their own spectacles I guess :)

I have just made a big decision today! I mean real BIG! Go MGM go!

Oh yea and I can't wait for Sunday to come :) kbox-ing at von's house sounds pretty cool! Maybe we'll have pizza for lunch and confirm we'll have no signboard seafood for dinner! YAY~ what a tai-tai life we are leading!

NYS camp is coming! After calling up the freshies, I feel more enthusiastic for the camp. Hahaha!

My story.

I feel like I'm an attention-seeking crap. Even with the bearable sore and uncomfortness from the wisdom teeth extraction (yes, ramos! i've just removed 2 on my right), I still whine like a 7-year old kid in front of my mother. The gauze pad is really so thick and it's putting tremendous pressure on my wound and I'm whining! Such an attention-seeking me. Oh and I'm really amazed that she can stand me. Thank god for this perfect mum of mine!

I remembered when I was a child, I had this tendancy to fall down very easily. Okay, I do still fall down now.. But not as frequent as when I was a kid. For example, during my primary school P.E lesson, I once tripped over a small cone and fell on my right elbow at the school's parade square. The scar is still visible now. But it's alright, at least I remember what happened. I have fallen so many times till the fact that I can't remember what really happened for most of my scars!

Anyway, back to the story. I remembered my elbow was bleeding profusely. I didn't cry in school. As usual, Sze Ling always put up a brave front in front of a crowd. (HAHAHA!) Or maybe, the wound was just of less pain in front of many people. But when I was back at home, with my family, I almost flooded my whole house with my tears.

My popo had to coax me, sayang me, telling me that she would go to school with me the next day and find the culprit. But it's a cone leh.. I didn't tell her what happened, I was busying crying.

My mummy heard about my fall over the phone and went guardian to buy some pink colour antiseptic liquid to wash my wound. I like this antiseptic liquid. It's painless and I was still using it during my last fall (dated: aug 08). But still, attention-seeking girl was still not happy. Guess what?

I have English tuition at that very evening and I actually pleaded Dad for me to skip the class. Dad said, "NO! I pay hundred over dollars for you every month for tuition. How can you say skip?" (something along the line) Because it was English tuition, I whined even louder. Maybe if it was math, I would have packed up and go. English wasn't my best friend when I was young. No matter how much I knew about past participle, active, passive, etc., they wouldn't know me.

So what happened in the end? Yes, I turned up for tuition, putting up a brave front when my peers and tutor asked me about my elbow. "Ya it was pain, but now ok already" HAHAHHA! As if. So I did my spelling, close passage and comprehension for 2 hours.

Funny ah.. I was still laughing to myself as I type. Oh well, time to change the gauze in my mouth. And guess what my mum did? She just pulled some of the threads off the gauze pad to make it thinner so that it will not be too thick for my mouth. I just have to admit something. I've got an awesome mum :)

Last week was a week well-spent! More and more get-togethers before the dreadful August approaches. Anyway, it's now Wimbledon's week 2 and my family is very geared up for tennis every night! Hahaha! Pretty good to have the family rooting for our all-time favourite, Roger Federer. And hopefully, Federer can get hold of his 16th Grand Slam title :)

DAC 06 dinner! And you know what? Our beloved 陈董 was really generous that night! Had like 9 scoops of ice-cream for 60 over dollars. Anyone at the table would have been heart-broken to pay that sum for the pathetically small scoops of ice-cream. But well, 陈董 to the rescue!

Totally enjoyed our time together :) And there's something for us to smile: We are soon to be 1.5 years old :DDDDDD

The Story of Labbit and I

Met Ms Labbit today and spent an afternoon together! Supposed to be cycling at east coast to get our lazy body work out but we got fooled by the weather, the going-to-rain-but-didn't-rain weather. Instead, we indulged in food and more FOOD! How glad!

But anyway, it's surprising that even though Labbit and I are not in the same class (or school) anymore, we still can chat through the afternoon! From old days to ex-classmates to boys to my uni to her family to my family; everything under the sun! And now, Labbit can recite my paternal family tree! *thumbs up*

As always, Labbit reminded me that I've brought my camera.

YAWN! I'm like super tired. Slept at 4am last night (no, this morning) just to tie up the loose ends for IT project. Morning, woke up at 1030 and continued again. Finally, I'm done! Like finally. Zzz.

Exams are around and corner and mann, I'm feeling the heat. 4 papers in 3 days is not a kidding matter. I know I've to do well this time but the schedule might just kill me. Pray for me.

Nevertheless, I'm seriously looking forward to my statutory entitlement of 3 months break! I'm deprived. I need to play. I need to go pak tor with my boyfriend. I need to meet my ole' friends. I need to EXERCISE! I need to go supermarket with mummy. I need to go to the park for a walk with daddy. I need my original life. Now, this, is NOT my life.

And I need to have more time to chat with my sis online or go to her room and disturb her.

Okay perhaps I've just made it sound really bad. But I just need time off to do something I want. Please?

On a side note, may the red and yellow shirts gang at Bangkok go back home please? I need to head there for a shopping spree, peacefully.

HELLO PEOPLE! Sze Ling has disappeared for a long long time, busy mugging before the Chinese New Year :) Apparently, Sze Ling has to continue to mug after Chinese New Year, for her tutorial presentations and essay report deadline. Yawnnn.

Chinese New Year photos will be up soon, I hope.

Even though studies have taken up a large portion of my life, I still strongly believe that Chinese New Year is a time to gather with friends and family!

I'm gonna see my 姐妹们 this Saturday! It's time for some catching up before Sze Ling really disappears into thin air...

Back at home on a mid-week :) Wednesday is a free day for me! How irritating. I'll still love my Friday-free-day aka my long weekend. Oh well! Stuck thumb lor.

School has been pretty fine up till now. I think everyone has settled into this hectic and competitive education system. So good for everyone, and me :) First week was filled with "How's your results?", "What's your GPA?", "How he fair?", "Wah why like that?". My motto: Shut all ears. Don't compare.

I tend to make comparison when I was back in my Polytechnic days. Some disappointment here and there at times, but mostly motivating. If I were to do the same in the University, I guess everything will be the other way round. Yes, I mean more disappointment.

Count my blessings.

I've attained a GPA to retain my scholarship (phew!)
I've got my first and one and only A+!
I'm finally taking some accounting related stuff! Weeeee!
It really feels great to look at balance sheet, income statement (oh no, statement of comprehensive income), etc etc. than MARKETING, STATS, etc etc.
I've joined an accounting II tutorial class away from my usual class! Full of good people! :)
I've a good FM group for this semester!
This should be the first on the list: I've an extremely understanding boyfriend! :)

And yes, it's time to do repay the allowance earned from NYS. Let's talk @ Suntec, Open House @ NTU, NYS Camp, etc etc.. Busy semester (I hope not.)

Well well! Christmas was spent with Mr. Boyfriend with him coming to my house to help me pack my room. LOL! The whole house is in a mess now coz' painters are going to come tmr to repaint the whole house. So whatever is sticking/leaning/touching the white wall have to be removed. Tomorrow at this hour, my family and I will embark on our journey to HONG KONG!! This is again once in a life time experience with my family, taking into account that we seldom travel together. The last time we travelled as a family was after my O Levels when I still had my short hair and the awful hairband. HAHA!

Ohkay! I just met Labbit Lee for lunch at lao pa sat before sitting at AMK Library to do some information search for HK trip~ And 30 minutes more to facial so I'm just gonna sleep in there and RELAX!

Mr. Boyfriend will be having his footdrill competition today :) Hope everything goes well for him! And I helped him to complete his appraisal/log book over the weekend! Reward: He will be cooking lunch for me during block leave!! Double yay-ness!!

Daddy is back from Germany! Poor him. He didn't get to sleep well there coz' of the eery hotel room. He once called me at 9am in the morning, which was 2am at his side, telling me that he couldn't fall asleep. LOL! And there he was back last night and he slept all the way till 1030 today~

Daddy got 9 sets of earrings for me and sis. So unexpected! Coz' he won't buy such girly stuff. He bought them on the plane but don't play play. Pierre Cardin leh... Euro 30 over bucks.
